Carnaval SF: A Must-See 2-Day Festival

Making the people of San Francisco merry for nearly four decades, Carnaval SF is making a big comeback this year for its annual 2-day family celebration.
Now on its 40th year, Carnaval SF promises this year’s celebration to be brighter, bolder and more fun and exciting. 
This 2-day family festival in San Francisco’s Mission District is a free event. Gather your friends and families for a 2-day celebration of global cuisine, international music, dance, arts and crafts and many more fun activities and entertainment. This free event is happening on Harrison Street between 16th and 24th streets on May 26 and 27 from 10am to 6pm. 
Carnaval SF will surely bring out the inner artist in you because you can enjoy arts and crafts exhibits. Let the international music performances from solo performers, bands, international acts, and DJs delight your senses in a whole day of everything about music. Satisfy your food cravings as different international exhibits serving global cuisines will be part of the 2-day free event. 
Carnaval SF is dubbed to be the “largest multi-cultural celebration in the West Coast” attracting thousands of tourists and locals from all over the United States. It also aims to cultivate and celebrate the diverse Latin American and Caribbean roots of the Mission District of the San Francisco Bay Area. 
1. Grand parade will be held on the 27th, be there early to get a good spot.
2. Anticipate the influx of tourists and visitors so better be early on the 2-day event.
3. Bring lots of money because there will be a lot of food exhibits in the venue.
