Instagram-Worthy Spots in San Francisco

Being a gem city, San Francisco's scenic view is really eye catching. What is your favorite Instagram-able location? Here are some of the breath-taking and colorful views that are worthy to be posted in Instagram

Mount Davidson

As the highest natural point in San Francisco, Mount Davidson does not disappoint with its foggy mood and urban forest. For just a quick 10 minute hike you can reach the top overlooking the city. On a lucky day you’ll see the fog blanketing the city in fluffy, white grandeur.

The Haight

The Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco has a fascinating history if you’re interested in tie-dye, and the alternative movement. Come here to pose with colorful walls, and wacky store fronts.

North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf

Sea lions aren’t the world’s most beautiful or elegant animal, but they sure are typical to San Francisco, and deserve a spot in your Instagram feed. Make your way to Fisherman’s Wharf, and see if you can get the trifecta of SF Instagram glory: take a selfie with a seagull, a sea lion, and a bread bowl full of clam chowder.

Grand View Park

In the Sunset District lies a hilltop park with stunning views stretching from downtown SF to Point Reyes. Grand View Park, otherwise known as Turtle Hill, consist mainly of wooden stairs ascending to the top with soft sand surrounding the area. This park is a less-known hangout spot for the locals.

Situated on the top dune is a green bench that serves as the favorite prop for both couples and forever alone folks like me. Sit down and peer out at the city surrounded by botanic habitats.

Fort Point

Fort Point was built back in 1850s to defend the San Francisco Bay during the Civil War. Today the Historic Site opens Friday through Sunday 10am-5pm for tourists and locals alike to dive into Army architecture and history while also enjoying the up close and personal view of the Golden Gate Bridge.
