Tips on How to Pack for a Romantic Getaway

First time couples need some “us time” too. Away from the stressful traffic of the city where they can enjoy every minute of their much-needed vacation. Let’s make your romantic getaway even more romantic. Here are some tips that you need to consider when packing for a romantic escape.

1. Comfy clothes and sneakers

Pack everything in a suitcase or in a backpack. Bring only enough clothes that you need for your trip. Think of comfortability over style. Be wear to wear something to put you at ease, not on edge. Invest in a good pair of sneakers – something that is comfortable to your feet even in long walks.

2. Bring your favorite book

First time travelers might not like the idea of long hours of trips. So be ready for long travel period.  Consider bringing with you a favorite book to keep you company.

3. Get your first-aid kit ready

Don’t let upset stomach, sprain, headache etc ruin your trip. Always bring with you a first-aid kit. Refill it with medicines that you might need in case of emergency.

4. Don’t forget a snack supply

Convenience stores might not always be open and grocery stores might not always be available when you need them. Bringing with you a supply of snacks will let you save your day in case of a grumbling stomach.

5. Ready your toiletries

Try trial size goodies like shampoo, soap and other toiletries. These usually come in sachets and can last up to a few days of use, only enough to get you ready for a day of walk or adventure. That way, you can save space in your bag if you bring only sachets of these toiletries.

6. Pack your camera, charger, power bank and phone accessories in one pouch

Organize all the things that you need in one pouch so that you will not keep on wondering where you placed certain things in case you will need them. Always bring extra camera batteries with you coz batteries run out. Sockets are not always available, but bringing your power bank will prevent your phone from running out of battery because of excessive phone use.
